Expansion without sustained performance
After rapid growth, the organization faced stalled momentum alongside pressure on productivity, labor cost, engagement, regrettable attrition, and trust in leadership.

WEMA BANK / SHARED RECOGNITION
I was part of Wema Bank's people and talent team during these milestones, contributing to employer-brand and talent initiatives alongside colleagues across the bank.
01 / THE PERSON & THE PRACTICE
My career sits at the intersection of talent, operational discipline, and a persistent question: how can this work better?
At Wema Bank, that meant coordinating recruitment at scale, supporting emerging talent, and helping translate culture into a compelling employer story. At CES Security, it means bringing that same care to full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, employee documentation, and workforce needs across the Washington, DC, Maryland, and Northern Virginia (DMV) area.
Today, I'm expanding that foundation through an MBA at Bowie State University and hands-on learning in business analysis, agile ways of working, HR technology, and organizational change. I bring a global perspective shaped by professional experience across Africa and the United States.
02 / SELECTED WORK
A closer look at the programs, systems, and people experiences I've helped move forward.
Project summaries reflect my experience and contributions. Team initiatives are described as collaborative work; independent learning projects are identified separately.
A BUSINESS CASE, NOT JUST AN HR ACTIVITY
For a confidential client served through Dynamic Rad Solutions LLC, I worked on a three-year people strategy in response to growth and workforce pressures. The client name and internal figures are withheld.
After rapid growth, the organization faced stalled momentum alongside pressure on productivity, labor cost, engagement, regrettable attrition, and trust in leadership.
I framed the work around how workforce capacity, retention, management effectiveness, and cost interacted, rather than treating each metric as an isolated HR issue.
I developed a board-oriented people-strategy approach: strategic choices, a sequenced portfolio of interventions, governance, KPIs, and explicit trade-offs about what to stop or defer.
The brief considered multi-jurisdiction workforce governance, pay equity, and restructuring controls. The strategy made these risks visible alongside the business case for action.
Designed for CEO and board-level discussion, with implementation requiring alignment among HR, finance, legal, and business leaders.
Engagement, regrettable attrition, productivity, leadership trust, and labor cost formed the proposed scorecard. Client outcomes and financial figures are confidential and are not presented as verified results here.

03 / HOW I WORK
Clarify the goal, the stakeholders, and what success actually means before deciding on an HR intervention.
Look at workflows, workforce signals, and employee experience. Ask what the process is making difficult.
Coordinate with managers and partners, make ownership clear, and create a workable path from decision to delivery.
Review outcomes, listen to feedback, and adapt. A dashboard matters when it informs a better decision.
04 / CAREER JOURNEY

Support workforce planning, full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and HR compliance documentation.
Consult for client organizations on HR policies, workforce planning, recruitment strategy, and operating discipline. Developed a three-year people-strategy framework for an anonymized client facing growth, retention, productivity, and labor-cost pressures.
Worked across outsourcing services, talent acquisition, and HR business partnering, including HQ and ALAT support.
Supported clinical and administrative recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, benefits and compliance records, and HR analytics.
05 / CREDENTIALS & CONTINUING EDUCATION
A professional Scrum credential alongside continuing education in talent, leadership, data, and technology.
Foundational Scrum knowledge for collaborative, iterative delivery and effective team practice.

Perspectives on people, performance, technology, and the systems that shape how work gets done.
Better questions lead to better organizations.

A hiring target tells leaders whether capacity was added. It does not tell them whether the investment produced sustainable value. The next questions are whether new hires reached productivity, whether managers could support them, whether regrettable turnover rose, and how total labor cost moved relative to output.
For a growth decision, I would put HR and finance at the same table: segment the workforce, compare time to productivity and retention by cohort, and test whether the problem is a supply gap, a process bottleneck, or a leadership issue. The answer changes the investment. More recruiting may be right; so might better onboarding, manager support, redesigned work, or a different staffing mix.
The executive decision is not simply how many people to hire. It is where each additional dollar of workforce investment will improve service, productivity, and resilience while keeping legal and people risks visible.
Strategic point of view · no client data or results disclosedStability. Autonomy. Growth. Transparency. Speed. Employees bring different expectations to work, and the same HR decision can be interpreted in very different ways.
My reflections explore how leaders can create room for different voices, explain decisions clearly, and make fairness visible in everyday practice.
